Standing Committee Makes Strong Recommendations
A report of the Standing Committee on Education and Economic Development, outlining some positive amendments to the draft Act has been accepted by the PEI Legislature.
The PEI Legislature last month accepted recommendations made by the Standing Committee on Education and Economic Development to amend the Temporary Foreign Worker Protection Act. Eliza MacLauchlan and Ann Wheatley, on behalf of Cooper Institute, were among those appearing before the committee as it reviewed the Act and developed its recommendations.
